Newsletter No 1 - January 2009
Happy New Urkund Year!
We would like to wish you all a Happy New Year with Urkund!
2008 was an exciting year. Several new features were introduced to the system. Highlighting of quotes and the possibility to exclude sources are two features that have made the review of the analysis easier.
Many new teachers started to use
Urkund last year. The number of educational institutions connected
to Urkund increased with 34 % compared to the prior year. We interpret
this as a clear signal of the problem of plagiarism getting more
important for schools and universities.
