Urkund
strengthens the system capacity
The
use of Urkund among educational institutions has been growing
rapidly for the past years. During the spring we have strengthened
the system capacity.
This
has shortened the delivery time of most reports from Urkund
which we believe is perceived as positive by our users.

Even
stronger control against Mimers Brunn
We
are pleased to announce that Urkund and Mimers Brunn,
a well-used online service for student papers in
Sweden, have agreed to strengthen both companies’
efforts in preventing plagiarism from student material.
Documents
submitted to Mimers Brunn will now be included in
the Urkund source material directly as they are
published and will be presented in a more aesthetic
view than previously. The result is an even more
effective control that will help prevent plagiarism.

Customer Survey
Shortly
we will perform the Urkund Customer Survey of
2009 with a Web survey to more than 34 000 Urkund
users.
The
last survey (May 2008) showed that as many as
78% of all users believe that Urkund is very user
friendly and that 94% believe that Urkund is a
reliable or very reliable tool with anti-plagiarism
mechanisms that save time in the daily work of
the teacher/administrator.
Our
Customer Survey also gives us valuable thoughts
on how Urkund can be improved.
